I agree with you, Aldi here it's a waste of space. Unfortunately in Spain we have Aldi Nord, whereas in the UK there is Aldi Sud; two different logos.

You are right, originally one but the two brothers fell out over whether or not to sell tobacco in their stores, hence the two different operations
