I've just had an Amazon es parcel delivered via ups, despatched 19th nov if that's any help.
Last week I had a correos parcel from Germany that had taken 5 weeks and 1 from UK that had taken 6 weeks!

Were the Germany and UK ones from
Amazon, or something else? That's a wild range of times. Truly unpredictable. Were they within the shipping estimates you were given?

Germany was an Amazon ES. 3 weeks late.
UK was a non-amazon but commercial sender. 3 weeks late.

Amazon.co.uk orders are shipped here via Madrid and they will spend weeks and weeks in Customs!!
I found Amazon.de by far the best option.

Amazon UK/DHL have got their act together in the last few months. All my orders have been arriving within six working days. Much faster than Amazon Spain or Germany.
I assume DHL has all the software up and running for customs clearance that Correos is sadly missing.

DHL used to be a nightmare a few years back, are you saying they no longer charge you extra as they used to?

I agree about DHL being a nightmare a few years back. As far as
Amazon UK deliveries are concerned, they have been very efficient. I have had no extra charges but none of the
Amazon order values have exceeded 100€.
