Ikea and you and Me Home, open this morning as is the Vape shop down past the Trafalgar. I overheard a local bar owner telling someone this morning "it is not worth opening, as there are no tourists and once you open you get no help from the Government" so you have to assume as long as they are being bailed out they will remain closed, makes good business sense I suppose?

Oasis Park, Lajita have opened a Friday produce market to support local businesses. Will run every Friday morning, instead of the previous regular Sunday Market. Same location but spread out to allow distancing. Not too busy today, with just 1 or 2 in the lines at the more popular suppliers.
Go and support local farmers, some who have had a hard time selling their produce.
They also had few local craft stalls and the German Baker from Valles de Ortega?
The Oasis Garden Centre is also fully open.

Has anyone found the health shop in the Atlantico Centre open lately? Tried Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening to no avail. No sign on the door apart from the old opening times and a maintain distance request. It is just open mornings or stopped entirely?

My husband got some things from there about 10 days ago during the morning . He said it was closed when he arrived, but he hung about for five minutes and the owner then came to open for him,she had been lurking aronnd. Unfortunately he did not ask if there were any official opening hours. I have to say, that in general her prices are high and the shop in Puerto del Rosario is definitely less expensive ( the one near the Red Cross building). Euros 29 versus Euros 9 -big difference for same thing!

Thanks, folks. Will try mid-day during the week at some point, then.
Emmi, that is absolutely shocking. Don't fancy fighting my way into Puerto with everything going on, but under normal circumstances would absolutely go there instead. That's a 325% markup! I expect some premium for the convenience of the shopping centre in a holiday town, but that's taking the proverbial.

I went for a long walk around Caleta this afternoon.
Atlantico Center
There's a one way system in place around the Center.
All the bars/restaurants downstairs were open with a few customers in each.
The Yelmo Cinema and the Mega Park Entertainment Center (10 pin bowling etc) were closed.
Upstairs, everything was open apart from Bijou Brigitte, Phone House, Excursion Center, Orange and Restaurante Hong Kong. Berna hairdressers are re-opening on 1st
June.
The Alma de Canarias shop has closed down completely - it hasn't been there long. Womens Secret is still under refurbishment as it was 10 weeks ago.
Eurostars Las Salinas Hotel Commercial area
All the businesses are still closed. They probably can't open until the hotel re-opens.
Centro Commercial El Castillo
All the businesses in the main shopping area remain closed and access is denied. As this area is open by Barcelo the businesses probably can't re-open until the hotel does.

Very disappointed to hear about the White Centre! Absolutely mad— it's the heart of the town, and I feel really bad for the shop owners. Caleta won't feel properly open again until that area is is. Good to see the China Shop across from them open, though— have missed the convenience of knowing it was there if you needed something.
Phone House was open for a while, I think, or at least it was open when we arrived about six (but was closed when we left around half past). Orange was indeed closed completely, which I understand. A Vodafone rep told me at home that the smaller local shops mainly deal with problems rather than making sales, and I'd believe that's true here. While there's always a long wait to see anyone, they seem to mainly be on the phone solving issues rather than taking cash, so perhaps we won't see them open for a while if it won't make them any
Money and they'll have customers hanging around for long periods increasing risk for staff.
Thank you for the detailed write-up, it's great to know what is and isn't accessible.

Anyone know if there is another Orange shop in Rosario or anywhere, as I do have a problem with my phone. Thanks
