The great party of the summer, the Beach Party 2019 is celebrated on July 26th and 27th, with more than ten musical performances that will start at 8:00 p.m. on the main beach in Caleta de Fuste.

Between the bands they emphasize PostCode, Los Lola, OBS, Rock History, Playa Coco, besides Adrian Rodríguez & Abraham García, next to well known DJs Abian Reyes, Vamos y la liamos, Joe Valdivia and Drew.

A marathon of rock'n roll, tropical concerts, salsa or the latest fusion of DJs that triumphs in the main musical contests, with the outstanding participation on the stage of the Rolling Stones Tribute on Friday, and on Saturday, Tribute to Bob Marley.

This Friday morning in the Plenary Hall of the City of Antigua, the Beach Party 2019 Security Meeting was held, presided over by Mayor Matías Peña, and with the assistance of the Councilor for Security and Emergencies, Fernando Estupiñán, the councilor of Tourism, Deborah Edgington, the Secretary General of the Insular Directorate of the State, Benito García, the Captain of the Civil Guard in Fuerteventura, Pedro Peinado and the Head of Unit of Gender Violence, María Soledad Rumbo, among others, in addition to the Sub Chief Inspector of the Local Police of Antigua Domingo Fránquiz and the Chief of Civil Protection of Antigua, Antonio Padrón.

All of them have supervised the Safety Plan presented by the director of the same, Rosa María Dodero, coordinating agents, schedules, improving access, exits, lighting points, parking areas, and points of public attention and emergency services. Special relevance has been given to the prevention of gender violence, as well as to the protection of minors, intensifying control in the sale of alcoholic beverages, or over the consumption of narcotics.

The Beach Party is the great summer party, free, outdoors and on the beach, which offers a musical program to the taste of the resident, the tourist, the families that attend and the young people who enjoy a safe and central environment which guarantees a weekend to remember, says the mayor.

The Minister of Transportation, Accessibility and Sustainable Mobility of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, María Dolores Negrín Pérez, encourages all people who plan to attend the “Beach Party 2019” festival, of Caleta Fuste on July 26 and 27, to use the collective passenger transport.

To this end, this Department has prepared a special service to facilitate going as well as returning from the great beach party that will take place next weekend.

The lines that have been enhanced, in both directions, are Line 3 Puerto del Rosario-Caleta de Fuste and Line 16 Puerto del Rosario-Gran Tarajal, highlighting that the schedules established by both lines for the early hours of Saturday and Sunday They aim to ensure that the party and transport safety are compatible, so that it is enhanced that the largest possible audience can attend the various Events that will be held by public transport and leaving the private car at home.

Special schedules have been established, in addition to those that operate regularly on both lines, starting at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in order to facilitate the departure, and at dawn on Friday in the direction of Puerto del Rosario-Caleta de Fuste at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00 hours and half an hour later at the aforementioned schedules in the direction of Caleta de Fuste to Puerto del Rosario, in order to give greater agility to the departure operation.

Special services have also been established on line 16 Gran Tarajal-Caleta de Fuste, on Saturday, July 27, at 8:00 p.m., 3:15 p.m. and 4:45 a.m., and from Caleta de Fuste to Gran Tarajal at 8:45 p.m., 4:00 and 5:30 hours.

The Beach Party 2019 offered a marathon of concerts to some 8,000 people.

The great beach party, the Beach Party is organized by the City Council of Antigua from the Department of Tourism with the collaboration of departments such as Works and Services, Civil Protection and the Local Police, in addition to the collaboration of the Association of Businessmen of the Castle , AECA, and the Cabildo de Fuerteventura.
