In accordance with directions from the Spanish federation of churches, St. James Cotillo will not be holding a service tomorrow morning at the El Toston Bar in the old harbour.
However, the service in Corralejo at 6pm is going ahead as it is possible to satisfy the requirements for maintaining a distance between people attending.
Fluid situation, changing frequently. If in doubt see website www.fuertechurch.org or Facebook Fuertechurch

Further update, all services, which now includes our usual Sunday evening service in Corralejo, are now suspended for the duration of the State of Emergency.
The Chaplaincy are currently working on setting up a live stream for future services, so you can join via the internet. Further information will follow.
We are currently working with our partners in PDR for the continued collection of non perishable food items and clothing (particularly for men). Further information on how you can continue to contribute will follow.
The Chaplaincy remains available for all those in particular need or distress at this time.
Our Chaplain, Bob Horrocks, was on a very steep learning curve yesterday! He video recorded a short service of holy communion and we have now opened a YouTube channel for posting weekly services (instead of holding a Church service).
