I think when you live on the island you accept any entertainment that's going - your expectations aren't high to start with. We're just grateful to occasionally have something different to go to. If we want big names/high tech/sophistication we know we have to travel to the mainland. We choose to live on the island and are quite happy to forego the highlife! So, expect little and hopefully be pleasantly surprised!  Big Grin

We are funny creatures aren’t we !! One of the attractions of the island to a lot of people is getting away from the thrum of their high tech, busy, on the go day to day lives & being closer to the simpler outside based life & the Lake District is also one of the extremely busy areas for similar reasons !!

I went on this last week. The flight over Fuerteventura could've and should've been better and Atlantic sea thing was only so-so. We chose the Great Wall of China fun ride as our third option which shook the wife up, so it wasn't all bad. It's a bit out of the way where it is and I'm not sure people really notice it.

Not really worth the 30 euros (for 2) and I'll be surprised if it's still there next time I'm over.

I read somewhere today that this closed at the beginning of the month. Low footfall was cited as the reason and the company said they would be relocating their simulator and were sorry to be leaving Fuerteventura. Shame as I quite enjoyed it.

Advice to company: position, position, position! If you locate somewhere that no one passes and therefore no one sees you, you are going to get low footfall!

That’s a shame, and I never got a chance to use it.

I always thought that and bear in mind my business was consultancy in the retail trade, but a week or two ago I was speaking with the owner of a business in Caleta who had relocated to another part of Caleta and enquired why he had moved sites, was it the extra footfall? to which I got the reply " I do not worry about footfall, if they want to find us they will find u us"

I want to now sincerely apologise to all the people I gave incorrect advice to over the years Confused Rolleyes Confused Rolleyes

They had a very good spot at the foot of the main escalator descending to the bottom floor of las Palmeras.
In fact you had to walk around it to follow your way.
But....They manned it with an €4/hour girl with the clear attitude "if you don't bother me than I wont bother you". written all over her bored face.
Man it with a barker and give him a 20% commission !
