Death in head-on collision

Radio Sintonia:

A person killed in a head-on collision on the Pozo Negro road.

The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands reported this afternoon of a deceased in a frontal collision on the Pozo Negro road on the island of Fuerteventura.

By FV-2, between the junction of Pozo Negro and Los Alares, Antigua

Assessment of those affected provided by the SUC:

• Male, whose age is unknown, deceased.
  

Services activated by CECOES 1-1-2:

• Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC): basic life support ambulance and medicalized ambulance
  
• Fuerteventura Emergencies
  
• Civil Guard
  

Remarks:

• At the time indicated above, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which they reported a frontal collision between a tourism and a bus, with a person trapped in tourism.
  
• The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
  
• The SUC staff upon arrival confirmed that the affected person had injuries incompatible with life and confirmed his death.
  
• As a result of the impact, the affected person was trapped in the vehicle so he was released by firefighters.
  
• Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings.
