Just sent you a PM.
Hope it's useful. Not sure of the charge, you could ask when you phone.

Did you get my Private Message OK?
Tried to send you a Map but I've forgotten how to send a picture on the Forum!

Yes thanks. Picked it up this evening. Found a backsheet from UK script so may try farmacie first. Also someone suggested I try ER at hospital while e111 is still OK to use.

Visit Dr. Daniel at the Cotillo Medical Centre, and he will do a script for you. Usually €40 for a consultation.

Thanks John. I went to the pharmacy, with my pills. They checked them and said that 3 of the 4 I required could be supplied without a prescription.
Heart regulation, Statins and self-regulating blood thinner. The one I could not get were my water tablets (furosemide ) I needed a prescription. Strange as it said very clearly on the pills I did get. Only available with a prescription? Cost, the first 2 about 15 euro for the two for the month, blood thinner 74 euro for the month.

Just to update on this— Dealt with the lovely chap in the pharmacy beside Just 4 Sales, and could not fault them. Great service and very helpful. Regards repeat prescriptions: we've gotten things from the pharmacy beside the Barcelo before, and they've never kept anything: just wrote or stamped on them and gave them back.

Try different farmacias, what one won't issue another will. Also prices vary a lot.
A UK written prescription will be accepted by some Farmacias but if non res no discount. Try the urgencia dept with EHIC they will issue a prescription if it is obviously a VERY necessary medication, but it will be annotated that full price has to be paid
