Sam on our flight back to Ireland last March (17th), only the rear toilets were available to passengers, however RA staff used the forward toilets. Kinda makes sense for staff only toilet, but the question for the rear 2 were horrendous and we had a full flight.

Read something earlier about contract tracing and airplane seating, which might explain why they're not trying to encourage people to move seats for distancing. If they instruct them to do so, they'll be responsible for recording the information as it was at their behest. If people choose to move of their own accord, then it's a case of "Well, we couldn't stop them, how were we to know?"

Did the cabin crew move people around to space them out as the plane wasn't full?

Not as I could see. The row behind us was empty (I had chosen our seats this way), but some time after take off a gentleman moved into the empty row - I think of his own decision as I didn't see any crew around him. I forgot to mention that we had to print and complete a form "Spanish Locator Covid19" that was emailed to us by Ryanair less than 24 hours before departure. One of the fields to complete is seat numbers of all in your travelling party - presumably so they can contact people that have been sat close to any subsequently confirmed Covid19 cases. In that sense it is unfortunate if people keep moving around the plane taking up alternative seats though of course spacing people out does make sense. [EDIT: I've just seen Ducks have made this point in a separate post too]

The form had to be printed and we handed it to an official after immigration in Fuerte, just when they were taking our temperature. It was all a bit "manual" with handing over printed forms - you would think it would be better if these forms could be completed online, but there may be GDPR issues around that. The intention is good though in trying to keep some control of visitors.

Thanks Sam. Yes, they seemed to use the front toilet as the crew toilet - at one stage I saw one of the pilots coming out using it.

Thanks! We're staying in between the airport and Puerto del Rosario - in the little hills across the road from Playa Blanca / Hotel El Mirador. Whereabouts are you based?

Hi Rome we have completed our locator form online and have been advised that we will be sent a QR code to be shown on arrival. Is the paper code in addition to this? Thank you

The QR code is instead, you can use either though. We used the QR code on Saturday.

Many thanks for your posts Rome77. They are very helpful.

We have flights booked with EasyJet for October, so I've been digging around on their website for info on this:
https://www.easyjet.com/en/policy/biosecurity-faqs

There are then a number of links to a number of country-specific self-declaration health forms and for Spain I found this https://www.spth.gob.es/create which says:

To create your individual FCS form, fill in all the fields.
You will soon receive an e-mail in your email account, with a security code and a link to create the form associated with your trip and to get your QR Code.

Remember that it is mandatory for all passengers traveling to Spain, and that each form is associated with a single trip, it is Personal and non-transferable

YOU SHOULD NOT TRAVEL if you have symptoms compatible with COVID-19 (fever, cough, breathing difficulties), of recent onset, if diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days or if you have had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last two weeks.

Anyone travelling back to the Uk still needs to complete the passenger locator forms which seem very much like they might be the original quarantine form given they seem to suggest you should isolate for 14 days. You could put anything on the form as all border control seemed interested in were those without the form. Electronic signs throughout Luton airport were telling all passengers to self isolate even though the quarantine rules changed the day before. A number of passengers on our flight did not have the forms, I guess they just assumed they were no longer needed.

On a different note, the Island felt much safer than the UK.
