Thanks for correcting - I was looking at the points not the games played on the league table.
Tacoronte won today and Tenisca and Yaiza drew, so it's not looking too good

On a brighter note, Gran Tarajal won 3-1 against San Antonio in the Preferente League and stay well clear at the top, so maybe they'll win the play-off final and be promoted to the 3rd Division.

Yes, bad results for Cotillo today, especially Tacoronte winning. Not looking at all good now. Their last 4 games are winnable after next weeks tough trip to Las Palmas.  But even that may not be good enough.

CD Cotillo are playing this week's home match, against Las Palmas C, on Friday 19 April at 12.30.

Union Puerto are at Villa Santa Brigida (Gran Canaria) at 12.15 on Thursday 18 April.

Tacoronte look safe, so it is now 3 from 4 going down. A massive game for Cotillo today, almost a must win. I didn’t realise they were at home so they’ve got a chance. If they win I think they might escape as their other games are very winnable. Vamos Cotillo !!

A point lifts Cotillo off the bottom but there's only 4 games left, and they are 5 points from safety.

Cotillo are now a much better team than their position suggests but they still struggle in front of goal. If they do go down I suspect they will do well in the Preferente if they can keep the current squad and manager. Better strikers would make them a good team ...

If they win their final four games to get to 44 points they need both Yaiza to manage no more than six points and Tenisca no more than seven. A long shot but not totally impossible. One game at a time, but everything is now “must win”.

Worth noting that Yaiza play Tenisca on the last day of the season which is good news for Cotillo. But Cotillo need lots of points before then ....
