Information on IKEA furniture assembly
#1
Hi all.

Having a problem with my IKEA furniture assembly.

They delivered the boxes yesterday. When I was discussing the delivery they told me I would have to contact the assembly Company separately after delivery.

So spent ages on the phone, various numbers , IKEA websites to get the contact phone number for the assemblers. No joy whatsoever! Except too many recorded messages in Spanish which were so fast I could not understand them.

Does anyone know where I can get the information from please?

Thank very much x

I find the people on the email for Ikea Fuerte to be very helpful. You could explain the situation to them with the assembly company's contact information, and maybe they would be willing to liaise for you? The address we used was puntoentrega.fuerteventura (and then the at symbol) ikeasi.com. Hope you're able to get sorted; it's horrible having boxes around and not being able to do anything with them!

Sorry to hear that. Perhaps some kind soul here who has decent Spanish might offer to assist?

I'm thinking about getting patio furniture made from iron and would love some advice on whether it's worth it. I've heard it can be quite durable and Weather-resistant, but I'm curious about its comfort and maintenance needs. Has anyone had experience with iron patio furniture?

Absolutely, iron patio furniture is a great choice! It's incredibly durable and can withstand all kinds of Weather, making it perfect for outdoor use. One thing to keep in mind is that while it's very sturdy, it can be a bit heavy, so you might want to think about where you place it to avoid moving it around too much. As for comfort, adding some good-quality cushions can make all the difference, making your iron furniture not only stylish but also cozy.
