Around 80 families have received the notification of eviction from the houses they occupied in the "semi-abandoned" complex of Las Palmeras, at the top of Corralejo, near the hypermarket area. The property has found a buyer and the new owner exercises his rights.
It is about 200 people, who without being socially excluded, do not find a housing answer in the north of the island, either because of the exorbitant prices, or because there is no supply. In this sense they are families of workers who are excluded from the possibility of renting or buying a home.
