Just a heads up in case someone is heading to The Mercadona in Puerto on Monday, it is closed, have to assume it is yet another Fiesta Rolleyes

Thanks for the heads up John, created a new thread to keep things tidy. It'll be closed on Saturday 12th Oct. too. As well as Mercadona in Corralejo.

Yes, it's a Fiesta day for the Puerto del Rosario Municipality on Monday.

The 12 October is a public holiday for Spanish National Day.

Yes isn’t it great every year I visit for my birthday they throw me a festival, and if anyone knows Pete Browne at The Step Inn in Caleta he shares the same birthday also. We generally share a whiskey together on that night.

Checked their website again and now it says Abierto todo dia - open whole day (next to 12th Oct). Sorry for causing any inconvenience. 😕😞😔
