I have just received this email from Transferwise, whom I have used for years, and I thought they were as cheap as chips before We come bearing good news! Today, we’re dropping the price of all transfers to euro. So whether you’re sending £100 or £1,000, the next time you send Money to €, a tiny bit more will end up on the other side – €0.06 to be exact. We know it’s a small amount, but those little bits add up, right? So we wanted to let you know. Check how much you’ll pay for your next transfer Why are we dropping prices? Earlier last year, we worked on building new infrastructure to support some services where we formerly had to rely on banks. Being able to issue our own IBANs, is one example of it. This allowed us to cut out the middlemen, and their fees –– and pass the savings back to you. Have any friends that could use cheaper transfers to Europe? Get them on board and get a reward.

Transferwise seems to move my money quicker than i can hit the keys. Note a really large amount took about 12 hours. Ref spanish banks if fully resident have a look at Openbank. Santander on line account

Used TW two weeks ago. As usual, money deposited in Fuerte account in less than 5 mins. Great service!

It seems that Wise are restricting the people who can use their services. If you don't have or can use a smart phone (or a webcam) then you can't transfer money.

Once you are logged on to your account and try to move money you have to validate the transfer with either a smartphone (which it appears to be geared up for) or a webcam. I am not able to use either.

They sent me a text containing a validation code once I entered that it went through as usual, I do not use a web cam although I have one, and while my wife has an Iphone, mine is a bog standard phone, so I am failing to see your issue, however I will go and check it now.
