The Network of Centres and Museums of Fuerteventura reinforces its strategy with a new image.
Museums of Fuerteventura reinforces its brand with a new image, within its objective of continuing to bring visitors closer to the culture and history of Majorera in an attractive, more agile way and reaching the public of all ages. Within the framework of this strategy to boost the image of its network of centres, Museums of Fuerteventura launches a new website.
The web portal includes detailed information on each of the sixteen centers and museums that are part of this network and that make known the roots of the majorera land from its volcanic formation, traditions, art, culture and customs from aboriginal times to the present.
The information is accompanied by location data and promotional videos. The website also allows access to virtual visits to museums, being currently available those of the Archaeological Museum of Fuerteventura, Interpretation Center of the Mills, Doctor Mena House Museum, Unamuno House Museum, La Cilla Grain Museum and Battles Interpretation Center of El Cuchillete and Tamasite. In this way, the user is offered an immersive experience. The agenda of activities of the different museum spaces is also informed.
The CEO, Rayco León, indicates that "the intention is to give a new impetus to the Museums of Fuerteventura brand. An important tool to make our history known to both local people and visitors. In that sense, it was essential to have a web space with a comprehensive image that markets the brand abroad."
In addition, material such as postcards and brochures is made available to users that invites them to continue visiting all these spaces. "A part imparted for us is the human capital that manages the centers, so this new image that we want to promote also translates into new uniforms."
The ultimate goal of Museums of Fuerteventura is to continue giving impetus to the network of museums, renewing its musealization, taking care of the details and including dramatized visits and guided tours to improve its attractiveness. The activities are currently carried out in Ecomuseo La Alcogida, Interpretation Center Battles of El Cuchillete and Tamasite, as well as Poblado de la Atalayita.
