These are great Sam thanks.
I've been looking at Tindaya and it hardly existed.
The maps that are not the old ones were taken quite recently, I can find my house and see work that was done in April but not the bit done in late October. I can also exclude June - Sept!

A Golfing Facebook Friend who I had a golfing Blind Date with last week whilst he was here on holiday has sent me these pictures he had taken when here in Caleta back in 1990.

Have a couple more maps from the same source, pointing to the exact coordinates as the previous one.

1994

And 1998

Hi Sam as I have just posted some old photos I was looking at your post, I think the maps you have posted are what I term interactive and use Goggle current maps as when you scroll it shows our development that wasn't completed until 2016 and the golf courses weren't developed until 2000 / 2002.  Not sure if you have the original maps and can freeze them so they don't update as Google updates.

We were there in August 1991 and stayed in the very nice Corralejo Beach Hotel. (Albeit.. surrounded by dirt roads in and out of town)  I know that places to stay were 'limited' but to say 'lack of anywhere better' is stretching things fella. haha...   Wink
