Ah, ok. Don’t want to cause any problems for everyone. It was an individual user setting in the old forum. I had it set that way so when I was following a thread the unread “new” posts came up to the top of my list instead of scrolling through. If it is just a whole forum setting on here I can live with it
I thought there might be a “user” setting that I hadn’t seen

If you just click on the pale green "New" alongside the thread title, you'll go to the first unread new post and can then logically read subsequent posts.
If you have the newest post at the top, it's difficult to make sense of previous new posts.

Oh, and while we're discussing this, does anyone else think that the pale green for "New" is a bit too pale? I think it's indistinct.
