The Arrentrankos is interesting to watch. Homemade,
Carnival carts and vehicles and people in fancy dress propel themselves down Virgen de la Peña and then turn into Lyon and Castillo and then head down past the 3 bums roundabout to the finish.

They are setting up for the Day
Carnival on Sunday, which follows the Archipencos (fancy dress raft race).
There'll be thousands there on Sunday afternoon.

A video of last year's ARCHIPENCOS
It should be a very good afternoon in Puerto with the ARCHIPENCOS and the Day
Carnival activities.

We will be out for two weeks from end of
April. Anyone know of any festivals at that time, just for something a bit different

7,000 people attended the last
Carnival event yesterday - the Day
Carnival in Tetir where everyone wears white and throws talcum powder. Most of my teenage students went! Several groups and DJ's performed on stage.
