Registering Form S1 at INSS office

I used the term "of age" simply because it isn't 65 anymore.

Hope that makes it clear.  Its not necessarily financial dependency (although in some cases, it can be), it is dependency on qualifying for the S1.

Tom.

OK, thanks I have got it now, but am still a little amazed at the wording used.

Could anyone advise please. My wife sent all the paperwork (S1 included) through the INSS website about two and a half months ago. The procedure was acknowledged and now on the Clave website the status is "Resolved". We are a bit lost at this stage, what should we do now, wait for a letter or booking a cita at INSS? I suppose with a document released by INSS then we could go to the Centro de Salud to register. Thank you in advance.

By now, you should have received a letter to take to your local Centro Salud. They allocate you to a named doctor and nurse and issue you with the famous Blue Card (your 'passport' to health care.

Visit your local Post office to ask if they have any post for you. If not, you need to visit again to ask for a duplicate.

Our Experience albeit a while ago.
I got a letter but my wife didn't.
Went into Corry and both of us were on their system.
They work in mysterious ways.

On another note in sept we drove our motorcycle from uk back to here.
I finally have green plates and an ITV for mid April.
If anyone wants to experience Spanish bureaucracy at its best try rematriculating a vehicle.
Think I used about 10 trees worth of paper.

Thanks David. However, we were waiting for a letter in the post but we were wrong. The letter had been ready to be downloaded from the INSS website for some time now. We didn't realise that.
