Fuerteventura is going up to Level 3:


After a review today by the Canarian Government, Fuerteventura is going up to Level 3 restrictions.

Gaming and betting establishments and venues. At alert level 3, recreational gaming and betting venues will have a 33% capacity, although the consumption of beverages or meals will be prohibited. The maximum occupation of the tables will be 4 people, guaranteeing the distance of two meters between the chairs of different tables.

Is it just me and my bad Spanish knowledge, or is there a slight discrepancy between the rules described in the text of your post and those in the picture that is attached to the post? Most specifically:

" You may not exceed 50% of the authorized capacity in outdoor terraces. The use of interior spaces or consumption at the bar is not allowed," (from the post)

However looking at the attached picture, I read it as if places must close by 00:00 with a maximum capacity of 75% on terraces, 40% inside with 4 per table or 6 per table if fully vaccinated and 2 people maximum at the bar.

Confusingly this document from the Gobierno de Canarias website seems different again:

Hope I am not coming across impolite, I am just genuinely confused. I am not in Fuerteventura myself at the moment but my sister and her family will hopefully be travelling next week and I am just trying to get my head round the actual rules and improve my Spanish at the same time! Am happy to be corrected

The official BOC will come out today - so maybe there will be soon clarification. The rules for the levels keep being amended to try and appease the hospitality industry.

Ah yes of course, I will check that once it is announced. Seems that the restrictions for each level are being changed regularly as well as levels for the Islands which is a pain for business owners. I happened to be in a bar in Caleta when the BOC was announced 2 weeks ago today and a member of the Canarian Police came in the bar and was explaining what the new rules were, I am sure it was the Canarian Police and not the Policia Local however I could be wrong.

The Canarian Government reviewed the Alert Levels today. Tenerife goes up to Level 4 and Gran Canaria up to Level 3. Fuerteventura stays at Level 3.

The Canarian Government have today published their official document BOC to outline the new measures in force at the various levels of alert.
As Fuerteventura is currently at Level 3, these are the new rules in place from today:
LEVEL 3:
1.) Capacity: 75% outdoors and 40% indoors.
2.) Groups of people: the maximum number of people allowed to meet is 6 in public or private, indoors or outdoors.
3.) Closing times: 1:00am.
4.) Guided tours: A maximum of 20 people may participate in tour guide and active tourism activities.
5.) The activity of nightlife establishments is allowed: discotheques, cocktail bars and karaoke bars are allowed to open in the same way as bars and restaurants with table service, and dancing is not allowed.
6.) Nightlife client data: Data must be collected the same as in Level 1.
7.) Parties, festivals and other popular Events may not be held.
8.) Shows: Shows with choirs, bands, orchestras or other musical groups in which the continuous use of the mask and the interpersonal safety distance of two metres cannot be maintained permanently, are not allowed indoors in closed spaces.
9.) The sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages, individually or in groups, on public roads, parks or outdoor recreation areas will not be allowed.
10.) Sports: The public capacity will be 50% in open spaces and 33% in gyms and sports centres. The Practice of professional, federated and non-federated physical and sports activity and in the celebration of sporting Events the attendance of the public is not allowed.
11.)
