TUI Airways increases flights to Fuerteventura

Little by little, some positive news is coming about the possibility of different companies covering Thomas Cook's hole. In this case, the board of trustees reports that the airline TUI Airways United Kingdom has scheduled a new London Gatwick-Fuerteventura-London Gatwick flight for next summer 2020, operating from May 02 with a weekly frequency.

The TUI Airways company will use a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with capacity for 47 passengers in preferred class and 241 in economy class

Two more flights

TUI Airways has also scheduled a new frequency from the youngest airport in the United Kingdom, Doncaster Sheffield in Yorkshire County (Robin Hood Airport); every Wednesday from May 6, 2020.

Starting May 2, 2020, TUI Airlines will also offer a weekly flight every Saturday from Glasgow to Fuerteventura.

Worry not, sir. Big Grin Big Grin The preferred Class is just something like Plus members at EasyJet - priority boarding, better seats, fast track security at some airports, etc.

I think that the "preferred class" description is a translation of Premium Club.  This includes bigger seats, more legroom, fast track security in UK, lounge access in UK, priority boarding, food and drink on board, etc.  However, the Tui website isn't offering Premium Club on the new flights, but you can pay extra for extra legroom, so they might just use the Premium Club seating for those who've bought extra legroom.
