The Ministry of Infrastructure, Roads, Planning and Municipal Cooperation of the Island Council directed by Blas Acosta, reports that a solution has been given to the lighting of the Tequital roundabout by installing 4 80W photovoltaic luminaires installed on 8-meter-high poles, thus solving the safety problem of this point of the FV-2 road.
The lighting of roundabouts at night is important, especially in some points, such as Tequital, due to the high average daily intensity of vehicles on the FV-2 road. The lighting at the Tequital roundabout had not been working for some time due to a cut in the supply to the installation, so it has been decided to install photovoltaic lighting provisionally until the existing installation can be reconnected.
To this end, the Island Council has acquired 4 photovoltaic luminaires 51SOLA7-080T30 LUM. XTERIOR: SOLARLINE 7 80W 3000K, which have been installed today on 8-metre-high poles, a sustainable solution from the point of view of energy and environmental savings.
