Thx for heads up about xtreme sports event in Tindaya tomorrow, hadn't seen anything previously, but it explains why there has been so much going on at the old Football ground. Loads of lorries coming and going but walls are too high to see what they were bringing!

A friend and I went along to the Xtreme Sports event in Tindaya today (as spectators!) 
There were about 20 competitors, mainly male but a few female. Not a lot of spectators, I guess it was mainly family and friends as the event wasn't widely publicised. Names and contact details taken as we went in (for COVID purposes), everyone had masks on, even the competitors whilst competing!
It was quite entertaining but exhausting just watching! We lasted about an hour but the wind was so cold and it was cloudy so we really chilled off, made a move home to do the evening dog walks.

  



Quite a good venue for an event of this kind if advertised well but I pitied the competitors who fell on the ground which is a mix of dirt and picon! And the obstacles looked to be made of quite rough wood - lots of splinters to be dug out afterwards! Ouch!!

This Saturday, 14 August from 6pm-9pm, there will be different activities in the shopping streets in central Caleta de Fuste - music,exhibitions, children's workshops, local produce and wine tasting.
