And as a final culmination to this Fair, the musician Paco Perera will put the finishing touch to this Fair with 'Tájara', a work that is built from the folklore of the Canary Islands to other sound territories.
Paco Perera is a bassist and singer who builds his music from identity and tradition towards innovation with a marked mestizo influence and establishing a dialogue between the old and the new, the local and the universal, the acoustic and the electronic. Perera also uses as a common thread the popular folkloric tradition of the Canary Islands and many of its characteristic elements such as instrumentation, folkloric genres and texts of the traditional Canarian lyric to be fused with other contemporary elements such as jazz and electronic music.
