Three arrested for resistance and disobedience in an eviction in Corralejo.
The Civil Guard of Fuerteventura, with the collaboration of the Local Police of La Oliva, has proceeded to the arrest of three people during the Police assistance provided to the judicial entourage that was carrying out an eviction, for a crime of resistance and disobedience to the agents of the authority, by barricading themselves in the house not wanting to leave it and spraying a person with gasoline and throwing the bottle where the flammable liquid was to the outside, affecting one of the agents of the Civil Guard, in the town of Corralejo.

On March 5 at around 12:00 in the morning, several members of the Corralejo Main Post were there, supported by a patrol of the Local Police of La Oliva, assisting the members of the judicial entourage, in the execution of an eviction by court order of one. The inhabitants had barricaded themselves inside, refusing to leave, maintaining an exalted and belligerent attitude against the judicial and Police agents.
After several attempts with the intention of convincing the woman to give up her attitude and allow access to the Police components, she remained firm in her will to remain in the building, which is why the judicial agents, at around 1:00 p.m., ordered the opening of the entrance door.
The opening was carried out carefully from the main door, allowing herself to be seen with a jug of what appears to be flammable liquid, spraying herself and throwing it outwards, affecting one of the Civil Guard agents who were closest, threatening to set herself on fire.
Faced with this situation of danger to the physical integrity of the people, the Police components managed to enter the house, beginning a struggle with the people who were inside, to prevent them from harming themselves.
Once the lives of the three residents of the house and all the agents who were in the place have been safeguarded, the three people are transferred to Police stations for the investigation of proceedings and subsequent referral to the Guard Court.
