Volcanic activity in Canary Islands 2019
There has been a landslide in Gran Canaria but as far as I understand this is either due to due to rainfall or bad workmanship on the road?.

Collapse at the entrance of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria due to a landslide at the height of El Tívoli.

"The wall was built in the 70s and is part of the dozen platforms and containments that the Ministry of Public Works plans to rebuild next year due to its age. He was being watched since the first cracks appeared in January and were repaired, in December cracks appeared that did not foresee the collapse, but the rains precipitated the Events and the work will be undertaken immediately.

Yesterday, before the increase in the size of the cracks, the right lane was closed and the Cabildo maintained a surveillance team, which allowed witnessing the demolition and immediately closing the central lane"
