Blue sky and sunshine at 8 am in Caleta.

A sunny day is forecast with a shade temperature of 21 and a UV index of 6.  Calima conditions are still about with a 15 kph SE wind this morning, changing to a 10 kph NE this afternoon.

Good morning all from Caleta, we are now back and settled into our routine here on Fuerteventura after our 24 day adventure to South Africa taking in Cape Town, Wine Lands, The Garden Route and a Safari East of Port Elizabeth, those of you who are friends on FB will no doubt followed our escapades   

Many thanks to Captain for giving the Caleta reports including this mornings so all I will do today is add a couple of photos from last evenings setting sun and this morning.

Tindaya and El Cotillo - Tuesday

A lovely day although still quite hazy. Fair southerly breeze in the morning but it eased during the afternoon.

Morning from Caleta, not as early as MLA today - Captain has indicated yesterday was a clear hazy sky in Caleta all day yesterday and it was nice and warm with little wind

               

This morning at 7.30am sky still clear of cloud but hazy, 11C and a lot of condensation, little wind.

               

Todays Caleta forecast - A sunny day, temperature up to 21C 2pm to 5pm, a UV Factor of up to 4 at 11am to 2pm.  Wind from the ENE  / E  all day up to 13mph at 11am easing slightly early afternoon to 10mph then back to 13mph for the rest of day.

Good morning from Caleta, early start off to golf at 8am, yesterday very much as forecast sunny cloudless sky but hazy nice and warm, little breeze.

               

7.15am 13C a light breeze 80% cloud cover, no condensation, not as hazy this morning so it looks like the wind that got up about 4am has blown the Calima through.

Todays Caleta forecast - Sun and cloud until 3pm when the cloud should have cleared to leave a sunny late afternoon and early evening, temperature to reach 19C 2pm to 4pm, no rain forecast, UV factor to reach 5 at midday, with visibility forecast to be 16km+.
Wind from the NNE this morning moving NE by 1pm for the rest of the day speeds 12 to 15mph all day so not to windy.
