What's the weather like? - February 2019

As Tamara has said another great day in Paradise yesterday clear sky and nice and warm, but I hace to say as the sun goes down it soon gets cool.

                       

                       

This morning at 6.45am clear starry sky, no breeze, little or no condensation and 10C

   

Todays Caleta forecast - A sunny day in store with a clear sky all day, temperature to reach 23C between 3pm and 5pm with a UV factor of up to 5 at mid-day, humidity averaging 47% though out the day and visibility the usual 16km+ Wind from the SSE all day with speeds 14 to 17mph this morning peaking at 18mph about 1pm easing slightly this afternoon and dropping to 9mph 8 to 9pm this evening.

A shower still possible tomorrow afternoon.

El Cotillo... Just returned from a cycle to the lagoons. Flew there with the wind at my back, a different story returning. Wind seems stronger than 21mph. Doesn't seem to put people off, one person swimming at 10.00am. Temperature 24C.

Very strong SE winds, all day and still blowing hard. Lots of slightly hazy sun, no cloud.

El Cotillo... The forecast is for a clear morning, but expect cloud and possibly thundery showers around noon. These will pass leaving a mix of sun and cloud, with an occasional light shower. The wind will be north westerly, fresh and onshore, averaging 15mph.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday much as forecast the wind did get up from the SE and the sea was rough when were down at the harbour, very hazy with dust / sand in the air.

                                 

This morning at 7.45 14C, windy making it feel much cooler, no condensation and a few clouds to the N & W sun rise quite hazy.

               

Todays Caleta forecast - cloud to build during the morning to give 71% cover by 1pm with a 71% chance of rain by 2pm, cloud to reduce from 3pm, temperature to reach 20C at 11am with a UV factor of up to 5 at the same time, humidity increasing from 50% to 84 % at 2pm visibility usual 16km+ this morning reducing to 6km at 2pm back to 16km by 4pm.  Wind from the W this morning 2 to 5mph moving NW 1pm to 5pm increasing to 15mph then moving NNW this evening easing to 10mph

Tindaya - Friday

SE gales continued through the night and morning. Coolish night Thursday. Friday 2pm the gale suddenly ceased and the wind swung 180 to NW, temp dropped further quite rapidly and within a short time heavy showers arrived. Stopped showering around 4.30pm and sun tried hard to breakthrough but didn't really achieve much. Further showers around 10.30pm.

Well yesterday was much as forecast with the cloud building, and a couple of light showers during the late afternoon which dried up with in 10 minutes, the bit they got wrong was the wind which was swirling around as planes were landing from both N & S and it was much stronger than forecast.  Sorry no photos from yesterday

This morning at 6.16am clear starry sky, light breeze, no condensation and 11C


Todays Caleta forecast - mostly sunny morning with 10% cloud cover building from mid-day to 40% at 2pm to 5pm, temperature to reach 21C at 2 pm with UV factor of up to 5 at 11am to 2pm, humidity averaging 60% and the usual 16km+ visibility.  Wind from the NW this morning 9 to 14mph moving NE at 2pm and swirling quite a bit at 14 to 16mph for the rest of the afternoon.

7.25 Update

Still 11C, very light breeze and now got some condensation / early morning dew 

               


And 7.50am with the wind starting to pick up
