Just to let you know yesterday afternoon the wind in Somerset West, 50 km east of Cape Town, was stronger than I have seen on Fuerteventura 

Was wondering why MLA hadn't done the Weather then realised we were 2hrs ahead of Fuerteventura

Looked better than it felt, found it very chilly today. Shaded area of terrace didn't get above 12C all day. Walked dog or worked in garden most of day - the only warm bit of me was the side facing the sun and that's with multiple layers on .
