Laid up with lower  back,  hip and leg pain this morning, up and about now so an update - warm, hardly a breath of wind, high cloud, clearer this afternoon than the last few days but still a little hazy.

oooh Golfing injury John? Hope you feel better soon  Fingers Crossed

In Tindaya the gales continued through the night and up until about 10.30am on Thursday, then they stopped, literally. We had a light NE breeze start around 1pm, very pleasant. Decided to take a ride to El Cotillo, have a walk and get some fresh sea air. Big mistake, parked up by El Toston, couldn't open car door the wind was so strong! Drove round to lighthouse and parked in such a way as could safely open door, had short walk with dog in gale. Home to Tindaya again where there was no wind!
Managed to get a few bits done in the garden (fence mending, perched on top of wall) and then the NE breeze arrived again. By 6pm it was strong, cold and moving back to SE.

This morning at 8.10am it is 15C a moderate wind, fair amount of high cloud and no condensation.

Today's Caleta forecast -

The YELLOW WARNING for dust is still in place until 3pm today so no outside cleaning yet.

A mainly cloudy day with some sunny intervals late this afternoon, shade temperature to get up to 22C from 2pm through until 5pm with the UV Factor reaching possibly 4 according to AEmet, air quality is poor.

Wind from the SE this morning at 9 to 15 kmph with gusts up to 28 kmph moving S from midday to come from the SSW late afternoon early evening at 9 to 13 kmph with gusts up to 30 kmph mid-afternoon.

Tindaya. SE gales continued through the night, still going strong now. Total cloud cover, very murky looking out to sea, a couple of thinner patches overhead teasing us that there is a sun!

Good morning from Caleta, at long last it looks like the Calima has ended, wonderful sunset last evening.

This morning at 8am 13C, clear sky overhead and inland with a little cloud out east, nice sunrise, not a breath of wind and strangely no condensation.

Today's Caleta forecast -

A mix of sun and cloud, A 5% chance of a shower this morning, shade temperature to get up to 22C from 1pm through until 5pm with a UV factor high of 4 11am through until 2pm, air quality fair.

Wind non-existent until 11am when it will then come from the SSW starting at 6 kmph increasing to 15 kmph at 3pm with gusts up to 30 kmph before easing back to 9 kmph early evening.

Sunrise, sunset & tide times -

AMET 7 day forecast -

Wonderful! A quiet night and a beautiful morning. No breeze whatsoever over here but plenty of condensation this morning.
Time to take stock of the garden and start the clear up!

Great to hear Tindaya Weather was more to Tamara's liking 😊😊

Not a bad day yesterday got through two thirds of the outside clean up after the Calima.  The evening was cool and we had dew / condensation by 8pm

This morning at 7.50am 13C, clear overhead but cloud out to the east over the sea and to the north, a very light breeze and lots of condensation.

Today's Caleta forecast -

Well the two forecasts I look at differ today, so take your choice AccuWeather an mostly cloudy day AEmet a mix of sun and cloud this morning and a sunny afternoon, both agree on shade temperature getting to 21C this afternoon with a UV factor of 3 to 4 at lunchtime, air quality fair

Wind what there is today from a generally easterly direction at 6 to 7 kmph with occasional gust late afternoon early evening up to 19 kmph.

Sunrise, sunset & tide times -

Good morning from Caleta where yesterday was another very pleasant day, temperature got up to the high 20's C.

This morning at 7.50 it was 15C but felt much cooler, fair amount of cloud and hardly a breath of wind, a lot of condensation.

Today's Caleta forecast -

A mainly cloudy day, the AEmet forecast indicating a 60% chance of rain this afternoon, shade temperature getting up to 21C from midday through until 5pm, the UV factor will reach 3 or 4 at lunch time, air quality fair.

Wind from the NW this morning at 9 kmph moving to come from the NE this afternoon at 9 to 13 kmph with gusts up to 22 kmph.

Sunrise, sunset & tide times -
