Tindaya - Monday

A very grey cloudy start to the day with a strong NE wind. Headed over to Corralejo around 10am and it was cloud all the way.

the cloud cleared by late morning and it was very pleasant although still very windy. Returned to Tindaya at lunchtime and it had become a gorgeous sunny day if you could get out of the wind. Around 4pm it clouded over again and the rest of the day was dominated by cloud and the wind with the occasional burst of sunshine. Stayed pretty hazy in the distance at all times; the calima map showed we had been in the edge but it should blow southwards overnight leaving us mainly clear in the morning.

Tindaya & Corralejo - Tuesday

Total grey cloud cover to start with strong cold NE winds. Very chilly dog walk at 9am.
Over to Corralejo by 10am where conditions were much the same. It was clearing by noon and became pretty sunny for the afternoon but still dominated by the strong winds. Cloud cover moved back in by early evening. Not the best of days, didn't feel encouraged to potter in the garden which is unlike me!

Tindaya - Thursday

Total grey cloud cover until mid morning. Wind had abated a bit overnight. Gradually cleared and by lunchtime it was pretty lovely. Great afternoon and early evening although a fair amount of cloud reappeared from time to time. At 10.30pm though the night sky was the clearest I have seen for a long time, fantastic display of stars.

2.30pm
