Good morning from Caleta

A mix of sun and cloud so far this morning, at 7am it was 17C now at 9.30am 22C with a light breeze.


Forecast - cloud reducing as the day progresses leaving a clear sunny sky from 3pm, temperature to reach 23C at 2pm (probably higher) UV factor of 4 11am to 2pm, wind from the N this morning 10mph to 12mph and from the NE this afternoon increasing to 14mph at 5pm before easing.

Tindaya and Corralejo - Tuesday
A nice bright start to the day although it remained quite hazy at sea. Very little breeze but I didn't think the temp got very high. A big band of cloud slowly moved down the centre of the island as is often the case. Nice sunset but not the colours of yesterday.

El Cotillo... The outlook is for a clear sunny day, as was forecasted yesterday. However in reality yesterday was more of a mix of sun and cloud. Looking outside now there are patches of cloud. The wind will be easterly and offshore, averaging 10mph. Temperatures expected in the low 20s.

Morning from Caleta, not quite as early as MLA -

Yesterday was much as forecast and reported by Captain and a very nice sunny afternoon with temperatures in the high20'sC

         

This morning at 7.30 17c no dew a very very light breeze but grey low cloud, at 8.20 the cloud is breaking up and it is much brighter.

                     

Todays forecast - Cloud to reduce during the morning to leave a mainly sunny afternoon, temperature high of 23C at 2pm with a UV factor of up to 4 at mid-day, humidity average for the day of 65% and visibility 16km+
Wind from the ENE this morning at 6 to 9mph moving E NE from 2pm with the speed remaining about 8 to 9mph

Sat on the terrace at nearly 5.30pm enjoying a first vino of the day.
A bit of wispy cloud to the southeast, otherwise not a cloud in the sky from Tindaya direction right round to Lobos.
Lanzarote lovely and clear.  A little windier than yesterday but not much.  Another warm day.
Note to self : must get a Weather station.  Posted from Villaverde.

Tindaya and Corralejo - Wednesday

A nice bright morning in Tindaya although hazy at sea. Over to Corralejo for 10.30am where there was a lot more cloud around. Stayed much the same all day. Little or no breeze, nice temp in the sun.

Back to Tindaya at teatime where there was a bank of cloud on most of the horizon but Gran Canaria was clearly visible when the sun sank behind it.

El Cotillo... We had a fantastic day Weather-wise yesterday, and the same is forecasted to the end of the week. The outlook is for a warm cloudless sunny day. Temperatures yesterday reached 24.5°C and similar are expected today. The wind will be gentle, offshore, and easterly, averaging 8mph.
