Pics mainly from this morning when I drove through Vallebron valley:

Around 5pm some gorgeous sun arrived but Betancuria looked like it was still getting wet! A brisk, chilly wind at this point that has since blown itself out.

Feature of today (Tuesday) was the showers. Quite heavy in Tindaya around 5-6am. In Corralejo at intervals during the morning and especially just after midday. A chilly breeze kept the temperatures quite low.

Now you see them, now you don't! Looking over the Natural Park towards Tres Islas and Oliva Beach hotels. Less than 10 minutes between the pics!

Morning all apologies for no post yesterday window cleaning called before the sun got on them.

Mondays pics - (Click on an images to enlarge and scroll through them)

In Caleta yesterday it wasn't a bad day, windy at times keeping the temperature in the low 20'sC, plenty of sunny intervals and about 1.30pm a very light drizzle shower but not enough to wet the patio.

Todays forecast - a day of sun and cloud, temperatures in the low 20sC, no rain forecast, UV factor of up to 4 at 11am, wind 7 to15mph form the NNW / N

Have a nice day  Wink Wink

A mix of sun and cloud today. A shower at my house at 14.30, and one while I was in Puerto later.

A catch up from Monday that I forgot to mention:

On Monday morning I wandered outside around 5am and noticed a strange horizontal sweeping light in the sky to the North. Was it a searchlight on a helicopter? No. Was it a UFO looking for a parking space? No. After a minute I realised there was a regular rhythm to the sweeps of light and suddenly realised that it must be the lighthouse at El Cotillo. Now this is normally well below vision from my house as there is a range of hills in between. I concluded that there must be an unusual cloud formation that the light was reflecting off of - this was confirmed 10 minutes later when the heavens opened over Tindaya!

Tindaya - Thursday

A bright start but by 11am it didn't look too promising:

The wind couldn't decide which way to blow, N, W, N, W, S ……

From 11am to 4pm we had intermittent drizzle/showers and then it suddenly cleared for an hour before sunset. The next 2 pics were taken within moments of each other, one facing SW and the other NE.
