Tindaya & Puerto

A very grey start with persistent showers from the early hours of the morning through to mid afternoon. Driving to Puerto just after 10am the cloud was at road level going through La Matilla bends, and several small showers while in Puerto. Last shower in Tindaya was around 3pm. Sun broke through around 4pm. Not cold as little breeze about, what there was came from NNE.

Good morning from Caleta.

Yesterday we were in the north of the island with our friends and that rain MLA mentioned at 10.09am must have been wide spread as at exactly the same time it was pouring down at the hotel in Corralejo. From 11.30am onwards we had a mix of sun, cloud and and a few drops of rain, a selection of photos from the day - 

                                

                        

This morning in Caleta at 7.45am it is 17C,  breezy, a fair amount of cloud and no condensation.

                               

          

Today's Caleta forecast -

Cloud to increase during the morning to 83% cover by midday but no rain is forecast, if you believe that!!, shade temperature high of 22C from 1pm to 4pm with a UV factor of up to 3 at the early hour of 10am.
Wind from the N this morning at 20 to 24KMph with gusts up to 26KMph moving NNE from midday increasing slightly to 26KMph by 5pm with gusts up to 30KMph

El Cotillo... The forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud, with temperatures in the low 20's. The NNE wind will be fresh and cross/offshore, averaging 17mph.

Not sure I can believe that. We have had rain 6 days in a row in Tesejerague. Admitted some days it only sprinkled, but still gives an idea of how the Weather has changed into 'winter' mode

Morning all, well yesterday turned out much better than forecast and as far as I know we didn't have any rain not even a bit of drizzle, however it was windy when I went for a walk at 3pm

                               

This morning at 7am 100% cloud cover, 17C in our sheltered spot but out in the fairly strong wind it is much cooler, no condensation.

A cloudy day with the shade temperature reaching 23C at 2pm and the UV factor no higher than 2 all day.
Wind from the N this morning at 20 to 24KMph gusts up to 28KMph moving NE from midday at 24 to 26Kmph with gusts up to 30KMph

El Cotillo... After the overnight cloud has burnt off, there should be sunshine with some wispy high cloud. Temperatures a bit cooler, reaching the high teens. The NNE wind will be moderate and offshore, averaging 14mph.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday was much as forecast, the north of the island seemed to fair better during the afternoon.

          

This morning at 8am 40% cloud cover with a big bank of cloud out over the sea to the east, 16C and fairly windy so no condensation.
