What's the weather like? - October 2019
#81
Villaverde.
A bright start then clouded up mid morning.
Decided on a trip into Corralejo as the gloom had
descended on El Cotillo.
Lovely late morning in Corralejo, back home by 1400
and the photos :-
Clearing nicely from the north again.
Up to 27c in the shade at 1600, light breeze.

Good morning from Caleta, apart from the mid morning clouding over and rain shower a very pleasant day yesterday.

This morning at 7.20am a few cloud overhead a light breeze, no condensation and 16C

Today's Caleta forecast -

Villaverde.
A superb day up north.
Hardly a cloud in the sky and warm/hot.
El Cotillo same at lunchtime.  Little wind
and still 26c in the shade at 4.30pm.
Best day we've had in the last ten.
More of the same please.

Morning from Caleta, as Bertie has indicated yesterday was another nice day, at 5.55pm still 40C in the sun on the thermometer in our sheltered spot  Cool Cool

Up early this morning to try and spot the Space Station, think the street light right outside our villa stopped us seeing it, any way clear sky over head with plenty of stars 16C, no breeze or wind to speak of and some condensation on the car.

Today's Caleta forecast -

Hazy sunshine with thin cloud cover of 80%+ all day, shade temperature to reach 26C from 3pm to 6pm with a UV factor of 2 from 11am to 4pm due to the thin cloud.
Wind from the NW this morning moving N from 11am and then to SE / S by midday for the rest of the day with a maximum wind speed  all day of only  15KMph at 1pm when it is coming from the SSE, this afternoons wind direction should mean planes landing from the north and taking off over Caleta.

Sunrise 08:02 h
Sunset  19:16 h

05:54 h Low tide  0,65m
12:04 h High tide 2,25m
18:25 h Low tide  0,48m

00:35 h High tide 2,24m

Always look forward to your reports and photos John, although I miss the photos from the other John as he always managed to capture my place in a least one.

Cloudy with the sun trying to break through all afternoon.  It felt hot and sticky with just a very light breeze.

As Captain has said it was very humid yesterday and the sun tried all day to shine through the high cloud and only the lightest of breezes.

This morning at 7.19am as we watched the Space Station it was a clear starry sky overhead well all round, 18C, not a breath of wind and no condensation.

Today's Caleta forecast -

A partly sunny morning with the cloud increasing from 2pm, shade temperature to reach 28C, feel like 32C, at 2pm with a UV factor of up 5 at 1pm
Wind, or should I say breeze, from the west this morning at only 6KMph moving S and then SE from midday increasing slightly to 9KMph with odd gusts up to 17KMph.

Well that is it from me for almost 4 weeks enjoy your time on Fuerteventura, if we are friends on Facebook then you can follow our adventure to Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal and the Drakensbergs there.
