We are still here, and the forecast is rubbish in that it is now blowing a gale from the west.
I did take some photos this morning, you may be able to see that the sea was like a mill pond -

Villaverde midday.
Not looking very nice in any direction. Strong wind from the west. Very grey. 24c in the gloom. Humidity @ 74%.

It's not been as nice as forecast so far today. It's been cloudy with a medium strength wind, although the temperature is 28.

There's just been a light rain shower here in Caleta. I can't believe that the forecast was so wrong.

Heavy rain for over an hour in Corralejo, started as black clouds, light drizzle turning to heavy rain. Finished around 7.00. And not forecast on my Weather app, which I shall now abandon for something a little more accurate.

It looks like all forecasts today were totally wrong!
Our forecast was for very light wind all day. But at about 12noon the wind came up suddenly and blew like crazy recording 80km/h, then quietened down only to return again with vengence at 5pm. 88km/h recorded. Brief rain shower and little sun. It's now nearly 11pm and the temperature is rising - 27.2deg currently !!

Currently thin high cloud. Had a heavy short downpour overnight but all dried up now. No wind. Looks like the day may clear up. App says 28 degrees & 4% chance of rain. Heading to the airport now ☹️☹️
