What's your favourite beach in Fuerteventura?
#11
It haz to be El Cotillo for me (it is on my doorstep!).

La Concha Beach for my early morning swim at 8am, or up the the lighthouse, sharp right turn and 3km over the beach road to one of the most isolated and pleasant beaches anywhere!

Not on the main beach  Wink  but I think there is a naturist's section half-way between Caleta's main beach and Antlantico shopping centre close to the stone bunker, but no sunbeds and there is a lot of stones in that section of the beach.

Really?  My comment was very tongue-in-cheek, as I've always considered Caleta to be the least naturist-friendly area on the island!  I just looked on Google, and can see the bit of beach you mean, and it does look rather stony.

During my afternoon walk yesterday I spotted these 2 signs at each end of the area Mia has mentioned, there appear to be 6 or 7 stone bunkers and I think 3 or 4 were being used yesterday.

There’s always been a few people using the stone circles here.

Never been to either. Are they 'Rental car wreckers' like Cofete and playa Juan Gomez?

Hi Magoo
The beaches down from Tindaya are accessed on dirt tracks. Depending on the time of year they can be pretty good or appalling! Depends whether the Cabildo has recently 'scraped' the track. I won't take my own car down there - only my dune buggy - but lots of people do.
