What the best (or less expensive ) cash machines are to use
#1
The One thing I’d love to know, and I know I’m going way off topic here, is what the best (or less expensive ) cash machines are to use, bank marcha all seem to be closed and the only one I have found so far that does not charge is the one in the casino! Caleta we are talking here

Moved from one of the Coronavirus threads. Sam.

Banka March is the only one I've been checking but you might have missed some locations https://fuerteventura.click/Thread-Where...-March-ATM

Also check this thread please https://fuerteventura.click/Thread-ATM-charges

And a second post of Revolut thread (there's possibly more ATM talk in that thread).

EDIT: Fixed the second link.

Maybe Banca March are not filling/servicing the remote atms still. The one in Costa Calma centre has been off a while and covered in dust!

I had to use BBVA & they charged me 6€ but my bank refunds any charges.

I only know of the Bankiamarch ones in Caleta. There was three, I think. One in s shop front on the other side of the road from Caleta gardens. One in the shop front of the excursion shop in the precinct but can’t remember where the other one is. If you have a Spanish bank account your own bank is also free to withdraw, I think. I usually use Revolut & get the cash limit out at the start & use contactless for as much as I can. HTH . . Ron

The one opposite Caleta Gardens has been closed since the lockdown, and The Excursion Shop is now closed permanently, I do not know of any others in Caleta

Thanks John. Good to know. I take it the excursion shop has gone altogether, not just closed at the mo ?Cheers

There is a Sol bank ATM in the Atlantico centre, but you will be charged if you don’t have a Sol bank account.
There is an ATM in the wall beside the Great Wall Chinese I often use it, I can’t remember which bank but there charges were always the lowest around.

The fee for non Sol clients used to be under €2.

Thanks all, I am back in the UK and didn't check the forum much over the last few days but all replies appreciated.

I would usually use the Banka March ATM in the Castillo commercial centre (think its next door to an excursion booking place) but closed at the moment obviously. I think as an earlier poster mentioned it is just that they are not being serviced at the moment, I really hope they become available in the future though since its my preferred method of accessing Money while in Caleta. I'll check here to see how things develop in the next few months.

The next best option I found was the Caixa ATM near the China shop, which one day decided it would give me Money for free, and the next day decided to charge me 2 EUR. This is with the same card I always use, a Fineco bank EUR visa debit card.

best wishes all

Edit - re-read the post about the excursion place closing for good, that's a shame, wonder what will happen with the ATM
