What is a great please ?

I'm guessing you're asking about 'grua' Can? It's a vehicle transporter, bed tips up and you drive on or get winched on. Some have a solid flat bed, some are just a couple of ramps.

I thought I would update this thread - you might find my endeavours today amusing!

So, after a year off the road and total failure to obtain a new carburettor, I decided I would scrap the bloody thing! The insurance is over 300€ a year and the cost of getting it to and fro ITV etc, just couldn’t warrant the costs for no gain any longer.
Mentioned it to local guy as we discuss buggies quite often, he has been stripping down and rebuilding one but can never get it road legal as the guy who sold it to him did a runner before doing the paperwork. He said he would have it and try to get it going, perhaps he could repair carburettor….if he could get it going he would buy it from me for nominal sum, if he couldn’t I would go ahead and scrap it.
While he is working on it I wanted to cancel insurance but I can’t do that without either selling or going officially ‘off road’, known as Baja Temporal.
Tried to do Baja online – worked right through it, got to end, need to pay 8€, it wouldn’t accept my card or my bank details! Said I would have to go to office, make appointment, prep papers.
So, appointment this morning. Took Baja form duly completed which is all it said was needed. Got there, got ticked off list by security, then you have to go to a machine, input your NIE number and it issues you with a ticket saying which desk, waited 10 mins, got called.
Gave Baja form over and asked for what I needed in my best Spanish 😉
Guy said: passport – tick (I take everything, every time I need to do official stuff, I’ve learnt that lesson!)
NIE – tick
Empadron – tick
Permisso de circulacion – tick
Receipt of payment  - no tick, need to do it here. Passed machine thru, wouldn’t accept my card!! Can’t pay in cash – grrrrrrrr
Guy printed more forms, said take to bank, pay, get receipt, come back. I said ‘any bank?’ he said yes.
Went to La Caixa as nearest. No people, only machines, couldn’t make head or tail of them. Gave up, decided to walk down to Sabadell who I'm with. Got there, waited 10 mins to get in, told girl what I needed and problem with card. She said no problem with card, gave me back all papers and one she printed on Sabadell paper with my details and Trafico etc.
Back up hill (long and steep) to Trafico. Security let me in but said my guy was on coffee break! Waited 30 mins, he strolled back in and called me over.
Form – tick
Passport – tick
NIE – tick
Empadron – tick
Permisso – tick
Receipt – not valid!!!
Apparently Sabadell should have stamped their printed receipt!!!!!!!
Told me to go back and get stamp and back to Trafico. I said no time, you close in 15 mins. He said make appointment for another day………
All for 8€
(But I can get about 250€ back on insurance)

Still banging head against wall ☹☹☹

I have now made another appointment for Weds morning ...

And today....

Sabadell stamped the receipt although they said they didn't need to.

Up to Trafico, security said I wasn't on list for today! Showed my printed appointment, he said it wasn't correct! Hello, today's date, correct time, correct subject choice....! He took pity on me and asked my age. I had already seen a notice saying over 65 you can go in without appointment, so I stumbled over saying my age saying I was over 70, by mistake, deliberately 🤣
He took me over to same guy I saw yesterday. This guy is the most unanimated person I have ever met, hardly glanced up from screen, didn't reply to my hello, didn't acknowledge that he had seen me yesterday, just spent 5 mins inputting on screen, printed a bit of paper, stamped it 🤣, and shoved everything back to me, except the Permisso of course.
So, job accomplished, but he could star in the 'red tape' video from a few years ago!
