Thanks for the swift reply, Gattaca66.
I'm not particularly skilled neither but always thought the only place to play tennis was the Barcelo courts near the main beach.
Do you have any links or how would one go about to join any?

The courts at the Barcelo and the Sheraton are, sadly, not terribly well maintained, Sam, and I think they are only available on a ‘by the hour’ hire basis. I don’t have a link, but the Elba Lucia in Costa Antigua had two good courts. These can be hired by the hour, or you can take out a monthly membership (33€) to use the courts when not booked by guests etc. If you drop in at reception the ladies on the desk are very helpful and friendly. I’m OK with Spanish, but most do speak good English.
