Wildlife on Fuerteventura

Wow! That's a large selection. Was that just with hook and line (no pole/rod)? What bait?

Yes ~ just a spool of 4kg line and a #12 hook from the local Ferreteria.
No rod or reel, but I'm sure you could use a light set-up and have great fun.

Bait was bread (Bimbo white sliced) or a small piece of artificial ragworm (Savage Gear Micro Ragworm)

Get rid of it before it gets established, in have found these in my shed at home, I have an extra strength wasp killer spray that I spray onto the cocoon as it starts to form then later knock it down and get rid of it.

The road crews have been levelling and compacting the coastal road for the past few weeks.

Dragonfly at Happy Plants, Tefia, this afternoon. Boy was it hot there!

[Image: 1r4vBtn.jpg]  [Image: QTbeeZj.jpg]

Lots of varieties of bees in my garden today, seemed very taken with lavender and rosemary as well as the normal yellow flowered plants.

Still loads of striped hawk moths around especially towards dusk.
