Can't be 100% sure Tamara, but from pic #1 of your lizard, it looks like you might be hearing the patter of tiny lizard feet before too long ;-)

Thanks GF, I thought the same. This pair have been together for a long time, or perhaps he shares himself around and all the females look the same to me! He's very territorial as well, always having scuffles with neighbouring males in the dry leaf litter - surprising how much noise they make!
He was really showing off his new tail today:

Was moving some stuff around in the garden today and everything I moved uncovered a gecko - there must be hundreds in my garden! One tried to hitch a lift into the house on the bottom of my laundry basket but luckily fell off onto my foot, gulp!

I love watching the gecko’s climbing up my patio walls.

Couple of months ago I found a gecko floating in a bucket of water I had in the garden. I love them so much, that I ridiculously tried to resuscitate it with CPR,but it didn't work. I gave him/her a decent burial!

LOL! Well I thought about it Tamara, but the bucket of water he had been floating in was rather murky so I declined!

Are you absolutely sure it was dead Emmi?
Some reptiles play dead when under threat or attacked.

It seems odd that evolution has equipped the gecko with the ability to walk up a glass patio door, but never thought to teach it to swim
