Women's Secrets - Atlantico Center

Has this shop closed for a refurb or permanently?

The shutters up around make me think it is a refurb as the other shop that has closed in the last couple of months has only got sheeted up windows

It is screened off, almost certainly a refurb.

A few days ago my wife sent an email to the Atlantico Center to ask about it. They replied last night and said that it is closed for reformas, and will open again on the 4th April. That's a long time to do a refit on a shop unit.

It certainly is, you would be able to gut it in less than a week, redec. including new ceiling, if required another week tops, fixtures, and fittings in a unit that size 4/5 days restock less than a week, could be done in 14/15 days, as you have to assume there will be little or no structural or electrical work to do, even if they replace the floor you are only talking an extra 5/6 days, it has already been closed 7/8 days, so they should be halfway there.

Depends on whether they are using this quiet time as a break in contracts for the workers/location as well. They may have some deal worked out with Atlantico for reduced rent while closed, kills two birds with one stone 🤔🤔

Morning Ron, Surely if that was the case, they would have waited until the half term holiday was over?
