OK we sampled the new VIP
Lounge earlier today
Firstly it took some finding as the signage is not up yet, the entrance isn't on the main departure gate isle it is one isle behind the empty units, if you know where the old North outside area is then that is where it is.
The
lounge is accessed through 2 revolving doors, the first leading to the outside terrace and the second into reception. Like all Exec
Lounges your boarding cards are checked for eligibility to use the facility. The girl on reception was very pleasant.
The
lounge its self is small, with seating for 20 inside plus the
loungers outside, you could fit 12 Fuerte
Lounges in the
Lounge at Madrid!!!
The selection of food and drink was good and well stocked, the wifi worked well once you logged in using either your Facebook or Google logins or your email address.
Loos were clean but hand driers poor.
Not sure I would pay 29.85€ to use the
lounge.
