For the last 15 years we have used an online seller for purchases to Fuerteventura.
We recently received this email from them “We are contacting you today as we've been made aware that the Canary Islands are not applicable for the current IOSS (International One Stop Shop) scheme which enables us to send orders up to the value of £125.00, without you incurring charges at customs. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Until such time as we find a resolution to this, we feel it's best to refund you for your order.”
Here’s a couple of links about IOSS:

The way things are going, no one will want to send packages to the Canary Islands.
