Is it a hardware or software issue?

It's hardware - I can't get it to turn on at all - the other day it would come on and then go off a few times, but now nothing!

I also use a MacBook Air, so following this with interest. Currently I have a "sticky" space bar which is frustrating to say the least and it may "give up" during next trip.......

It is often caused by a swollen battery in Apples.

A friend has just had their laptop (not Apple) mended in FUERTEMOVIL in Puerto del Rosario. He also replaced the battery in her iPhone. Apparently been there a few years, very helpful, speaks some English. Worth a try?

It's on the roundabout opposite the National Police Station.
