Appointments for the new TIE

We phoned 10 days ago for an appointment to exchange "residencia" to TIE.
Went in today at 0900 and ushered straight in. both of us together.
It took only 10 minutes of which most time was spent trying to use the fingerprint machine!!!
Told to come back 4 to 5 weeks to pick up TIE.
All nice and friendly. 

Phone no for CITA PREVIA 928 856 282. The chap on the other end realised our Spanish was dodgy and he spoke slowly and  used simple words. I could not understand the date so he stated it in English followed by Claro.

Only misgivings were our photo sizes, mine at 26 x 32. my better half's slightly bigger but both accepted.

Just picked up our TIEs.
We called in at the Police station as 8 weeks have passed since the application and were ushered straight in.

Note my photo is fine as i gave in the mini photo with the application.
My wifes however is definitely iffy, we assume  it is because she used an "acceptable" photo from a photo shop in Corralejo, whereas I got mine from the little shop next to the Police station.
