A bather drowns in Costa Calma.
A bather has drowned this Thursday on the beach of Costa Calma as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Canarian Government in a statement.
The man was rescued from the water with signs of drowning and was apparently in cardiorespiratory arrest, says the note, which states that he was practiced, without success, both basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers.
The Emergency Center was alerted to the event at 10.59 a.m., so it immediately activated personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and Police officers who took charge of the corresponding proceedings.
