Betancuria museum closed and new building

The museum buiding is slosed for renovations. I thought that it had not been open very long and yesterday I went to B with a view to visiting it since it opened. Also what is the other building behind it not yet complete? Looks like it might be an hotel?

The original museum is on the main road in Betancuria.
The new museum is behind it (it's not a hotel). They've been building it since 2012! Perhaps the exhibits are now being moved from the old to the new museum.

The new museum itself is closed due to renovations but it is a completed building. I thought it first opened in January 2019. There is another building further up the hill semi completed with no windows which has the look of an hotel but may well be something else.

That one is the uncompleted building for the Ayuntamiento of Betancuria - that's been a shell for years and years.
