Construction Works in Lajares

Hello - good evening to you all. Back in March, I booked a holiday renting a private villa called Sonrisa in Lajares. I used to live in Corralejo (early 90's) and I am returning with my family - 6 in total. I booked, paid the deposit and got confirmation from James Villas back in March for our chosen dates. I just received an email from James Villas saying that we could no longer use Sonrisa due to "construction works" starting near to the villa at that time. Something just doesn't add up. Can anyone find out for me if there are any expected construction works due to start in Lajares in October? When we checked with James Villas website, Sonrisa is still available to rent for the exact same period (16th thru 26th October)...it shouldn't be available a) because we booked it and b) there's some supposed construction works happening at that time. Can anyone help me find out what construction works they mean? (if at all). Many thanks - Jay
